Welder / Fabricator

Day Shift

Our Welder /Fabricator position is responsible for pre-fab, fit & weld and drill/punch mild and stainless steel parts, plan welding work and make estimates of material requirements, and maintain equipment and manufacturing area for safety and good housekeeping. We are looking for an energetic, positive, self-motivated welder/fabricator who has at least 1 year experience as a MIG/TIG welder, preferably with in a lean manufacturing environment building quality parts. Must also have excellent math and manufacturing blue print reading skills; solid mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring tools; good communication and inter-personal skills.

Must be able to work Day shift (M-F, 6am - 2:30pm)

Fabricator

Day and Swing Shifts

Our Fabricator position is responsible for laminating layers of traditional fiberglass and resin materials on molds to form products; cut fiberglass mats, and cloth, materials as required by projects being assembled; pat or press layers of saturated mat or cloth into place on molds, using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands, rollers or squeegees; mix catalysts into resins in preparation for vacuum processing.; check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by measuring with rulers, by checking them visually, or by tapping them to detect bubbles or dead spots; Prep molds using various waxing agents; sand and grind cast parts to meet specifications; and complete all job related paperwork associated with the fabrication of each part built. We are looking for an energetic, positive, self-motivated fabricator who has at least 1 year experience as a fabricator preferably in fiberglass reinforced plastic or similar manufacturing environment. Must also have a HS Degree or equivalent; demonstrated ability to read and interpret blue prints; ability to use a variety of hand tools and equipment (tape measures, rollers, brushes, grinders, cutting tools, etc.); and good communication and inter-personal skills.

Must be able to work Day Shift (M-F, 6am – 2:30pm) or Swing shift (M-F, 3pm- 11:30pm) Indicate shift preference on application
